Rich is the Founder and President of CG Capital, a capital markets advisory firm that introduces public companies to new investors, including family offices and emerging managers outside the usual NDR circuit, and books the meetings. With over 25 years of experience spanning Wall Street equity research and investor relations, Rich has built a reputation for transforming market perceptions, driving shareholder value, and securing strategic capital across multiple industries, including biotech, healthcare, technology, and energy.

Since founding CG Capital in 2008, Rich has advised publicly traded and pre-IPO companies on market engagement strategies, helping them refine their investment narratives, expand institutional ownership, and execute capital-raising initiatives. His work has directly led to over $500 million in financings, facilitated successful M&A transactions, and strengthened institutional investor engagement through targeted outreach and strategic positioning.

Before launching CG Capital, Rich held senior investor relations and finance leadership roles at Kinetic Concepts (KCI), Matria Healthcare, ING Americas, The Home Depot, and El Paso Corporation, where he managed Wall Street communications, drove corporate finance strategies, and played a pivotal role in multi-billion-dollar M&A transactions and capital raises. Earlier in his career, he was an equity research analyst at UBS and Jefferies & Co., covering energy and industrials, where he developed valuation models, conducted investment thesis development, and advised on IPOs and follow-on offerings.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Rich is committed to fostering diversity in finance and entrepreneurship. He established a Wall Street internship program for minority college students, providing first-hand exposure to capital markets, investor relations, and executive-level finance. He has also served on the boards of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and United Way of Atlanta, advancing industry best practices and supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs.
